Last year at the end of the season (Easter weekend :jump: ) my radiator fan stopped working. I checked and changed the relay and made sure the fan was free. I couldn't find anything wrong so I just ran a hot and ground (fused) to the fan with a switch to get me by. Since I have a digital temp gauge I just flipped it on, as needed. Has anyone else had this issue? I would like to put it back, kinda hard to troubleshoot since you have too have the sled to full temp in order to trip the relay.I may just leave it switched, and install a light to remind me it's on/off. Just trying to see if there is anyone else had this issue. Maybe the thermocouple? Anyone know the location? Thanks

Since you already changed the relay, and we know the fan works because you can turn it on now I would check the temp sensor.

Yep Thanks Ryan, finally got the download. Looks like the coolant temp sensor is just under the thermostat. Change that next...

The coolant temp sensor is easy enough to diagnose with the electronic "diag" manual says it #06 and you get the temp of the coolant.

I'm having issues with some overheating, sliders are cool, but engine runs hot. Tested Relay, Tested fan all works.
Do you know at what temp the fan should come on?

Another thing I did was drilled out the top panel by the gauge, similar to to roost screen. Just use a 1/4" drill and go to town with the holes, lets the hot air out better, and as an added benefit when you stop you can set your gloves/helmet up there and they get toasty warm!

Check out the mo flow consule vent. I added one this year and it has made a hug difference. When the fan kicks-in, the rad can draw way more cool air. Especially when at idle.

Before - when idling the rad whould get hot and with no ability to draw on cold air it just roasted itself. Now the air that moves through the vent is awesome. It can sit and idle for some time now before the light comes on.

A good mod if you ask me for $25
