I've been reading all the past posts on the ram air mod from Rockerdan. I've made the cut outs to the airbox lid and ordered the prefilter, but need help with how to make the prefilter "frame" and attach it to the airbox. Any info or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I like it, when you pin the throttle you can notice it but when rideing you cant. Sounds good to me.

Do you have to re-map, you'll probably have a LEAN spot in the rpm range...

no remap.....ECU adjusts, similar to how it will adjust on the new yamcharger.
However,im guessing my Pc3/ign module can make the ramair make even more HP then stock ecu does.

It definitely adds some punch to the sled. I also love cracking the throttle at fueling stops and other such gatherings, turns heads quickly. LOL

Just finished the ram air mod. Rockerdan's pictures were super helpful. So glad I did this mod myself. Wasn't hard, just took some time and patients. Had my wife do the stiching. turned out great and saved tons of money. Thanks to all! Remember. . . anyone who's going to try this, make sure you sign up as a site member or you can't view the step by step photos.
