I wasn't a fan of the "dull" flat blue, so I sent all the front panels out for paint. Had a tough time finding the matching paint from Colorite due to the new model, but eventually after a couple weeks, was able to get the info from Yamaha. Now just waiting for the replacement decals to be released. What do you think?

Wow RTX, I love that! I have hated the dull blue since I picked mine up. Well, hate is a strong word maybe as I still think it looks awesome as is but you get the idea.

What kind of paint did you use? I ask because the plastic on sides flexes a bit. Looks really sharp without decals.

Colorite supplied the paint and the clear with a flex additive. Seems pretty flexible. What kind of paint did you use? I ask because the plastic on sides flexes a bit. Looks really sharp without decals.

That dull blue was the only reason why I didn't by a le Nice job. Looks awesome The way it should have been done from the start. Exactly what I would do. I would not want one with the factory blue dull panels. I would buy the orange-gray one first. I have a blue coat and helmet so the orange one is out. I think you sled looks awesome.
