If using MIB for sled storage what is the ratio? The bottle I purchased does not state. The bottle actually says to use ethanol shield for storage. Have even looked on B3c we site at the Mechanic in a bottle literature and it states nothing about ratios for storage or "normal" use for cleaning.

You have a 10gal tank??? a bit over 2oz for storage, make sure you run the sled after pouring the MIB in so it is completely through the entire fuel system. There are no issues with over dosing..I have an 8gal tank on my nytro I think, I put 2oz plus in.. When I run the Engine Energy I put 3oz in..

His argument is MIB is the best additive out there! To bad the thread question was can I burn 97 in my RX instead of 87. Answer is yes!

All the other is an advertisement with some crazy arguments, some viable, some that are showmanship with little sense behind them. I'd say start another thread about gas additives but there is a few already!

Well I don't see why they are selling both.
1. Is just for ethanol
2. Is for enathonal and claims to do everything else imaginable, except sex.

I ordered a bottle of MIB (24OZ) $34.00 Delivered and will try same test as video myself with straight gas w/ethanol.
Will say Iam a little sceptic as they make a awful lot of promises on the side of a small expensive bottle, seems a little snakey sounding or like me on 4 drinks.
1. Treats ethanol
2. Lubes seals, orings
3. Boost octane
4. Cleans varnish
5. Stabilizes fuel

Wow I sure ain't no rocket scientist but how can any liquid do such opposite things. I'll test and try it. Hope my sled ain't TOOOO FAST now.

RIGIDONE: I just got the MIB and performed test in jar just like I did on earlier page in this post.
And Iam sorry to show that it did not PASS test, and in both test's I used way more MIB than needed, as pics show after 3 minutes? the water (gel) has settled to bottom of tank again.
Don't know what to think other than would someone who has some MIB also try testing it like video-maybe Iam getting old but I have to say it's NO better than anything else, and I gotta say whoever named it MIB was defenetly never a MECHANIC (kinda a slap in face) of a real MECHANIC.
But I did want it to work as showed.

why wouldn't I talk to you? Ill pick up some ethanol fuel over the weekend and do the same test..and actually I have cnybrian stopping by my work this coming Thursday to get a battery and some other things, Ill go to the gas station next door with him and do the test right in front of him, I will do the burn test with him too..(it's always a great show)..I've done the water bound test probably close to 500 times without failure.. give the burn test a try bigdog..

Not saying anything bad, but something is not right with bigdogs test, The fuel is extremely cloudy, in the video you can see how the MIB clears up the fuel, and ratios are important, its not like you can take just any old amount of fuel, water, and MIB and expect it to work..Bigdog said he put more a lot of MIB in, well if there is to much MIB and not enough water and fuel molecules to bond with It's not going to work..Its science and measurements, specific things happen to create phase separation..Like I said, I have CNYBrian coming to my work Thursday, Im going to do the test right in front of him, and let an unbiased 3rd party form an opinion..

Oh Come on RIGIDONE how can you play this loosening game, So know it has to be exact amounts, well in the real world how do you now how much fuel & water is in your tank and how much MIB to add.
You have got to be kidding me that I must use exact amounts of water-fuel-MIB for TRICK to work, tryed being nice.

Another member just texted me saying he has BEANS that you put in tank and swears you go 15mph faster.
Geez I might as well test them too.
Oops must wait for snow on that test.
