I have one with the mogul master mounting kit. I'm running OEM windshield from my 2016 ZR7000 it looks just like the Tundercat windshield. Windshield is solid black so I cannot mount of the console area. I have the hood and side panels removed at this time. The lite easily is above the black windshield.
Distance from Handlebar to top of lite is 5.5 inches/140mm
Here are some pics

Not sure of dealers I ordered mine from Ridelite web site. They usually have a preseason sale on the lite units but that may have passed. Ck their website.

Don't buy the kit just yet. I'm not home right now but later tonight I'll find you the best deal if you like the handlebar mounting.

I never heard of this product - is it in effect another headlight? How well does it work?

Ok if the pics posted above are of the mogul master mounting kit. It is just a collection of RAM mounts. I just used RAM mounts and also used the locking knob so no one can walk off with the light.
The kit pictured above looks to use the composite ram and diamond plate. You can get the 1" SS rail mount with a full aluminum arm and aluminum diamond plate on ebay for $29.99 free shipping. You can also get a zinc ubolt for a tiny bit less just change the U in the part # to a Z
RAM P/N: RAM-B-149U http://www.ebay.com/itm/RAM-Mounts-...529785?hash=item2ca4540139:g:SxEAAOSwhcJWQcqQ
If you are looking for the locking knob that I used. (make sure it is the one with Brass in it!!!!)***It's the 1/4-20 knob not the 5/16***
RAM P/N: RAM-KNOB3LU $22.57 http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOCKING-KNO...ash=item35f48881b2:g:M9UAAOSwAYtWMpCc&vxp=mtr
You may be able to find better prices for these items at a few different places if you take the time to check their price and weather or not they have any active coupon codes. A cpl good places are: http://www.gpscity.com and http://www.themountdepot.com
If using the option above you will need to supply your own mounting screws/bolts to go from the diamond plate to the ride lite. I don't remember what thread size they were. I happened to have some short screws laying around that worked. They were a bit too long and I never bothered looking at the hardware store for shorter ones. I just added some washers to take up the extra length. I would also make sure you blue loctite them into the Ride Lite. Also not a bad idea to put a cpl wraps of electrical tape on the bar to protect it before adding the mount.
Here is a pic of my lite. If you have a taller windshield you can also buy longer arm's. The stock arm is just long enough to clear a med. Viper shield. I plan to use a little longer arm this year so that I can get it a bit more forward of the bars to make sure I don't bump it when standing.
Last note if you spend the time; sometimes on ebay you can find that mount setup attached to a gps mount for an even cheaper price used. They also sell other smaller locking knobs that use a weird plastic key with a pin design (just search ram locking knob)
