Some pics from the Easter Holidays, the great outdoors together with family. We're all gone fishing. Me, wifey, our two girls, my mother and father, mother-in-law and brother-in-law.

Snow is good and deep still, even we've had mild weather for the last 3 weeks.

After the fishing contest. We did not catch any arctic char og trout.... but we won 3 gifts in the lottery they held on the ticket for the contest yoooohoooo 3 gifts on 5 tickets is pretty good
The girls wanted to go sledding. Linnea and Amanda on my 08 Apex RTX and my brother-in-laws 07 Apex RTX.
The old SRX700 is still running strong, this is my cousins '01 SRX700.
Linnea is taking great care of the gift she won My mother and father is leaving, they love skiing.
Back home at mother-in-laws house in Olderfjord.

It's sunday, weather is perfect, we're out with friends and family.

We're packing up the Nila.
Ready to go.
Up on the plains we parked at a small lake called Sappasjavri. Our girls surfing down the hillside on a board, speed up close to 50 mph.
Linnea our 7 yo went first.
The downhill went just fine, no problems
Wifey's cousin Ulf Tore making a phone call, he's riding the Polaris 700 SKS.
The plains are a great place to go riding, pretty flat and a deep snow cover, I love riding in this area.
A few more anglers trying to catch an Arctic Char or a Trout.
Wifeys cousin Sigve. He's riding a Yamaha SRX700.
Wifey and the girls, we're riding a Yamaha Apex RTX.
When the guys were done fishing we headed back down to Lake Voulit Ransajavri. The name of the place we camped is called Katthålla or in english The Cats Hole. We're the only Yamaha is a fleet of Ski-Doo's. A 05 and a 06 Machz 1000's, a XP1200 Turbo and a FreeRide.
The Apex
The place is perfect to set up a small camp. We have two campfires going. We're rosting chops, hot-dogs, Reindeer meat, you name it

Man... it's a nice sled hahahaha I love it.
It's a TotallYamaha sled for sure.
While we were camping for the half the day up in the Cats Hole I had to take the sled for a spin to explore the area around the Lake Vuolit Ransajavri. I rode north down the creek exiting the Lake. In the far distance you can see the Porsanger Fjord and a part of the Arctic Ocean.

Still great snow conditions.
The kids are playing on the hillside above the Cats Hole.
The days was very warm, up in the 40sF or +10C degrees. By afternoon snow was starting to get real soft even on the trails. All of a sudden the sled found its own way into the bushes hahahahaha MAN I got stuck.
Luckily it was close to home, only a minutes walk from mother-in-laws house. Wifey went to pic up a saw to cut down the trees.
Hahahaha it wouldn't go anywhere, after a short while the people who own the cabin close by came home, they helped us to get the sled back on the trail, thank you very much

Season's over, never got the time to go spring riding this year either.......

Summer's here
First summer visit at our cabin at Lake Gagga.
This is a huge Pine tree, it's growing and thriving at 70 degree North.

This weekend we went out to have a look at system of waterfalls called the Rappa Waterfalls.
Here's a look at it from a distance of 1 mile, this is the upper fall of 3 different waterfalls.
The lowest of the waterfalls in inside the canyon ahead.
Our Persian Kitty Nan loves to go out with us. Our American friends Susan and Bob calls her Camping Kitty
