Tough sleds. I rolled it down the hill four times and the only damage was 2 broken windshield screws and 2 vent clips. POh, and the heavy Apex springs rock! No bottoming at all yet.

Nikolai, when you took your swaybar off, did you cut off the swaybar tabs on the bottom of the lower a-arms as well?

I think I'm going to have to buy a stronger tunnel or reinforce the running boards. My Better Boards are cracking and starting to bend from jumping 
I'm also going to drop to 151 Vector rails and run the 150x15x2.5 I think. A 144x16x2.5 would be even sweeter but I think with 144 rails the rear transfer rods would hit the bogie wheels.

i would not spend the money on vector rails. I would suggest getting something stronger.

Rode today and saw 9,260 on the tach and thought I saw 9,3?? but could be mistaken. Seems like the motor is still opening up. Climbs alot better now that it holds RPM's on the hill all the time.

Thanks for all the tips Nikolai...keep up the info for the rest of us AK boys to follow suit. I am 250 lbs and am considering the snow eliminator kit, should I hold off? Have you hit Lost Lake yet..Sat was unreal, bluebird and loads of untouched....did run into a lot of pissed off XP riders that say they perfer their old chasis.

I was up at lost lakes saturday on a apex turbo. It was sweet for sure. The wind is getting the hills but other than that it was fun.
Me and NIkolai rode placer glacier sunday and it sucked. Snow wasnt great and the light was horrible. I think we only put on 20+ miles. The good news is it was snowing like crazy when we left.

I saw you and your buddy come ripping off the lake and up and over the face. Damn I need a turbo. Was your buddy (all black I think) running with out a seat?

Yeah that was us, the other guy was turbo tim here on the forum. He is all black but has a seat, a little one.

Anybody know why nobody has put a design together for an under-tunnel exhaust for the FX Nytro. The RX-1 setup was so simple.
