I am wondering if an entire plate is required, or could 2x2 gussets cut on a 45 just be welded in the corners??? The hole for the tie rod boot connection also looks like a week point. It it right at a bend in the tubing. I think this could use some reinforcing too. Perhaps something could be welded to the top and bottom of the tubing to help??? I'd like to be able to make these changes without removing the subframe if possible.
Has anyone seen where the 2009's are reinforced futher back? I haven't seen a picture of one with the belly pan plastic removed.

Finished my spindle reinforcements, lower a-arms braces, and picked up my tie rods from the machine shop.

I finally got everything welded today and dropped off at the powder coaters. I'm getting everything done "Desert Graphite Black Wrinkle". They had a sample and it's going to be siiiiiiiiiick. They had to order the powder so I won't get it back for a weeks but I'll post pics as soon as I do.
I did get my 150x15x2.5, oil lite a-arm bushings, and new ball joints & tie rods. Assembly should be quick.

Here's a couple more pics. New black XTX plastic(hood and tank piece) is on the way and I should have my Whal Drivers in a few days. I think I'm going to put the deposit down for the SC next Friday.
