Hey guys,
I wanted to remove the clutches on my 07 phazer fx to do some cleaning. Primary came off no problem with the puller but the bolt holding on the secondary wont budge. When i try to loosen the bolt the brake is turning even with the parking brake on before the bolt brakes loose. I even tried jamming a screw driver in the brake to stop it from turning but the bolt wont loosen. Any tips? Its not reverse theeaded or anything right? Should i bring it somewhere who has an impact gun?
Suggestions would be very helpful!
Thanks!

Maybe try using a propane torch just on the head of the bolt and then give the wrench a wack with a hammer. If that doesnt work yes a impact. Usually not that tight. But is Loctite on it. Heat should help.

Had the same problem when I first got the sled. An application of heat and a long breaker bar solved it.
Also helps if someone else can hold the secondary and keep it from moving (parking brake can only hold so much).
Now I make sure to torque it properly.

The parking brake never would hold mine. The regular brake usually will hold it.

You can always put a zip tie around the hole bars and break lever after you hear it up while trying to break it loose.

Got it. Put a clamp on the hand brakes and used a braker bar. Thanks again!
