Does anyone know where to get the slotted ring that goes on the head of all the shocks to hold the coil spring in place on the unthreaded end? I lost one and Yamaha wants to sell me the whole shock, I only need this retainer.

they fit off of the old kayaba , had same problem before and got some off a set of frronts off a 97 sx

I lost one too!Went to dealer today and asked mechnic if he had one layin around, sure enough he did, and just gave it to me. Can't believe it wasn't like ten bucks or some other outragous amount. Then I found the old one, do you still need one? send info. Honk
