Looking for feedback from those running the 229 Cat spring(160/260). I've ran it all year but I think I may have it too tight. I feel it too be a bit harsh on the stutter bumps.
Where are you guys setting it. I'm 220 geared up.
Thanks.

Softened it up today and it made a huge difference. Plusher ride on the stutters and rails the corners even better.

Do you know how many turns tight from the spring being loose, or a measurement of threads showing?Softened it up today and it made a huge difference. Plusher ride on the stutters and rails the corners even better.

I have almost 500 miles on the cat 160/260 spring. I set it at one turn of preload.
What are your limiter straps set at?

Ya I have very little preload. I think my limiters are at 2 or 3 for trail riding.I have almost 500 miles on the cat 160/260 spring. I set it at one turn of preload.
