coming off '17LTX LE QS3r, enjoyed it thoroughly

Qs3R only - cannot find new unless I go to AC 9000RR

Which is the better choice of the 3 Yamaha's
EPS with QS3r - seems the best
EPS with Iqs - gimmick ? same as QS3 but on the fly adjustment, even more added weight for something I dont think I need
or no EPS 9000RR

EPS with QS3'r would be my choice. My feelings are that the IQS gives more troubles, however I really liked the switch on the fly 07 Attak I had with the Ohlins rear shock, but it also had more dampening settings to it. I'd rather keep it more simple and not have the electric wires or module that does go bad now and again.

I'd also would have the Cat RR too, but it'd have to have the EPS. Although I had my 17 that steered very easily, I'd not do a non EPS sled again after riding one for a few miles. The EPS makes it feel lighter than a 600 and takes the kickback out of the bars. As soon as I rode my buddy's with EPS I knew I had to have one.

EPS with QS3r. I don’t have QS3R’s on my 20 GT but I did add oem eps and its so much better of a ride as you get no feedback through the bars, paired with the right skis mine handles like it’s on rails.

What skis are you running now?

depends on riding conditions

Rough trail, those QS3r's are really nice, especially with the rebound.
The IQS is really nice though, having that on the fly shock adjustment I'm constantly flipping back and forth just cause. I could leave it alone but that's not me.

If cat had released a IQS with QS3r's that would have been the ultimate. I'm on the look out for front track shock qs3 kashima as I blow through the travel all the time. Not sure if the sting ray mod would help,

Doesn't the L-TX LE have QS-3R's?

Finally Fab!!!!!
I know eh..

Since adding eps I put the Slydog commands back on, one of my buddies just put them on his eps srx and his comments to me were “so much better”. Only have about 1500k on these skis so far and they just work in every trail condition I’ve been on so far this year. Took some time but I finally got my SW handling perfectly for me.

There supposed to. There may have been a year or two during COVID when they had just QS3 on them however. Like maybe 2021-22 or something. But all the other years have QS3R's. That why I got a 23 as the QS3R's came back on them. Had the SRX ordered in 23 and then found out the 23 LE was coming with the QS3R's on them and I knew thats what I wanted over the electric switchable. So I don't think the 22 LE came with them and why I ordered the SRX to start.

Power steering with IQS imo, how many times in a day you’d want to stop and switch between 1-2-3. No need to stop just switch it on the fly, plus the two customizable driver settings are the cats #*$&@. You’ll find the shocks equiped with IQS are a little stiff to begin with but they soften up after a couple thousand km’s.
