so I went start my 08 RTX after It had been sitting for a couple weeks and noticed fuel pump didn’t prime and when I turn the key to engage the starter which didn’t even turn over ,the high beam light indicates on the pod for some reason. So first I check the battery which is good then I start checking relays through diagnostic mode in which I heard them all turn on, then I jumpered the starter solenoid which engaged the starter, then I put 12v to the fuel pump which then engaged the pump. So now I’m think I might need the help of some phazer doctors to give me some insight. I ran a jumper wire from battery ground terminal to the frame just In case The wire came loose on the chassis somewhere but otherwise not sure where to look next. Hoping the ecu didn’t melt down somehow.

What does the gauge pod show? And I would assume you checked all the fuses?

Moose I check all the fuses next to the relays but not sure if there are others on the sled and the pod lights up like normally but does not show any codes.

Check your ground block unless it's already been replaced as per the bulletin. It's taped up in the wire harness between the radiator and oil tank. Also check the ground wire from the battery.

Oh ok I will look for it I heard rumblings of ground issues on here.

Pull the plug that plugs into the relay. Corrosion inside the plug and on the terminals to the relay can cause symptoms you are having. Been seeing this more and more.

After some carefully inspection of the harness by the oil tank I found a plastic yellow block taped to the harness and noticed some burn marks in one corner ,so I peeled away some of the plastic casing and seen some corrosion on the terminals. I then tried the key and sure enough the fuel pump primed so now what Is the fix to the grounding block or is this something only covered by the dealer?

Take a look in the Phazer FAQs section, it is a ways down the page in the electrical section. I'm still amazed how much info the previous members have put in there over the years.

It could be fixed by the dealer for free. The bulletin might still be in effect. If not, the parts should be available. Not a big job.

I actually probably have some old input in there under my old name of Weapon x from years ago.

dealer here in Winnipeg ordered me one for $8 but I may try fixing on my own with some stranded #14 awg and solder.
