Sidewinder windshield

With a heat gun I heated up the tabs and bent them the shape I needed and then stack some rubber grommets and mounted the wings to the hood

I couldn't see Velcro working in there anything over 50 miles an hour the side wings are going to start flapping I want it solid and secure there's a good half inch to three quarters of an inch gap there

No need to bolt....see mine I trimmed and have been will over 100 with no issues

I actually only stuck the soft part of the Velcro there to keep the tab from abrading the hood. So the tab is not mounted at all. Works fine up to 106 so far.

Hey Steve windshield looks great. Got the same one. the pic of your windshield . It looks like the black trim is still touching on the right side. Could you cut where the bend is or just below it ? That way the black trim won't touch the hood. Just curious why you did your that way. Thank you

optical illusion of the shadow I suppose...not touching

Thanks...
I didn't think you would do that . Best way to do it then.

Does anyone have windshield part number SMA-8LR96-20-01 on their sled?
