My sled is at my fathers on the trailer and I do not have a garage at my house yet. Would it be ok to take the panels off and install it at my house with the panels off the sled or is this a bad idea trying to get the lines and decals from panel to panel to line up? Has anyone done there's this way with perfect success? Thanks

depends what area you are doing.....I did much of my SW and much of my CAT wrap inside house, but certain areas you will obviously have to have plastics on sled to do, and line up...IE: instrument panel which runs along side of fuel tank up to the heated seat switch. And the side panels where it slides down into that lowest panel, will likely get some graphics and need to line up too. You can take hood, and side panels into house, and line them up inside as you can see where they would come together...the rest is tougher, as you need sled put together.

I feel it would depend how ocd/anal you are and how intricate the graphics are on the wrap

For the guys who installed wraps... what is the best practice for removing the factory graphics off the sled?
Thanks

Everything peels off without heat really easy unlike the doo decals.

Big difference between removing graphics from painted panels vs plastics that are molded in color. They definitely don't stick as well to these plastics.Everything peels off without heat really easy unlike the doo decals.
Now go remove the warning off tunnel.....painted makes for some serious work.

My 850 doo plastic is just colored molded plastic like the winder but that red stripe on the doo was a bear. Doo must use stronger adhesive. The graphics on the sidewinder painted tunnel actually came off easier than the plastic. The warning stickers suck cause there such a thin material.Big difference between removing graphics from painted panels vs plastics that are molded in color. How's everyone templates doing mine doesn't seem to be a perfect fit on a lot of them compared to my buddies wrap he did on his 6 year old cat from the same wrap manufacturer

My hood pieces fit together nice but the side panel pieces had some pretty good gaps, most were almost 1/8". Thankfully a sharpie blue marker matches pretty damn close to the blue I used, plus black then. How's everyone templates doing mine doesn't seem to be a perfect fit on a lot of them compared to my buddies wrap he did on his 6 year old cat from the same wrap manufacturer
