I was wondering if you have mage mods to your sled? Mine is stock with about 400 miles couple inches powder across the lake and I got 103 at max rpm of 8250I roll raced an 850 from 20mph. It didn't go good for him.
When I ran him from a stop. Even trying to modulate throttle, it was no use. He would leave me by 2/3
I think the heavier 4S turbo will need more help from the dig.
Big end my speedo 120
His sled was 109
Really bad conditions for both of us. I'm thinking my sled has the capacity to max out my gear. So speedo IND. 122/23. I'll find out in better conditions this year.

Stock. I won't mod a sled that doesn't do as advertised. 144 1.375's
My conditions were horrible. 1" of crust, breaking thru in spots.
I forgot to recall RPM.
Read up, some are saying coil bind in the secondary. Snow Conditions will also kill you.

I have no way to know what others have done to their sleds.

Great shagman! I would love the opportunity to bring the winder to a local event and clean house. Lol!
Just awesome.......
Shagnos, Everytime I bring it up, these guys put me on ignore. Lol! What gives? Hahaha. These 850's are quick. I'd love to put a hurtin' on one in the 600' range. But at what cost? Don't like to give anything up. Trust me! Too many of them little buggers...

I hate to say it. But they didn't look all that impressive to me. If they were that quick I would think they would have run faster in 800'. I don't know what else to say. Conditions weren't very fast as it was mushy but was the same for everyone.

Quick and fast are not necessarily the same. Reminds me of a customer's twin turbo Vette. Ran 12.30's @ 148mph while had a fox body mustang go 11.90@108.I hate to say it. What do you have done to your sled?
I've watched it more than once. 850's pulling winders by two-three, and the catch-up game begins. Not just mine.

Happens all the time. And it's easy for the quick guy to quit and say "what's the point?" Hahaha. I get it.

Yep that 89 mph 850 probably would have spanked Shagman's 99mph Grinder in a actual drag race.Happens all the time. And it's easy for the quick guy to quit and say "what's the point?" Hahaha. I get it.
Don't forget Shagman has a BTX. Low gearing and a lot of track. Don't think a 850 is going to have a chance even in short sloppy run unless it also has the track and gearing unless conditions are opposite such as Ice and they are studded. My buddies 850 wont pull from my Viper till almost 70 mph then he is gone. Both Rip2's and both studded.Yep that 89 mph 850 probably would have spanked Shagman's 99mph Grinder in a actual drag race.

EVO stage 3 and Thunder products clutching which I've been running for 2 years (turbo viper) and helped do the testing on. Also 2 years on asphalt with the viper. Uncoupled skid leaves the line way faster than your coupled sleds. Weight transfer like you wouldn't believe.

Nope. Not in 800'. I offered. They all declined. One was sitting at half track checking times to there. Remember I'm geared low. 9000 rpm is 97 mph geared out. I had to pull overdrive to get to 99.4.
24/50 gears 3.0 pitch drivers.

I tried my fun button (launch control) once in a race at St. The other sleds were coming back and the guys were removing their helmets. I still hadn't moved......lol
