Just wanted to see if all that purchased the aluminum" LIFT-A-SLED" are still pleased with their purchase. I have a 17 RTX and I have the BOP chain case protector guard installed if anyone can comment on any interference that may create ( possible shimming). Also, if anyone from Canada, ( Toronto area) knows the most cost effective way to get one shipped here ; that would be great. Any other lift recommendations for my sled are appreciated too.

thanks to all,

thanks to all,

I use and really like the Trick Lift. Comes in many different color options. Mine is Red, White, and Blue

I am in Ontario and purchased mine at Princess Auto. It works great—>see video
It’s not Aluminum
If you buy aluminum from USA, expect to pay huge tariffs going over border now.

I hunted for these this summer. Shipping adds a lot of money. All and all the lift a sled isn't that much more so I took dans advice and got that. It is a one rugged piece and I'm happy with it.

I love my Trick Lift as well. Very well built and love the color options they provide.

Search Minneapolis Craigslist to find Trick Lift. Price is roughly the same as Lift-a-Sled so you can choose powder coated steel with four casters or aluminum with eight steel casters.

the weight is not too bad on the royal distributing one as i have one now. the other one i have is made according to the instructions on the tec pages. both work well but the bought one is lighter and the handle works better. have not tried with impact or drill yet for raising or lowering. beats laying on the floor to do maintence.

On the Sledcore Mulisha FB Group lots of people rave about the K-OS lift, made here in Canada I believe he's out in Kitchener/Waterloo area. It's not Aluminum but built much better than the Princess Auto ones.

Have a couple of the lift a sled lifts...love em! Super light to move around if needed. We store sleds on a 2nd floor so carrying the lifts up to the second floor is really easy. No help though with the chain case guard interference.

In Canada, options are very limited and steel lifts are the go-to. They are heavy! 120lbs for mine. But it lifts 20x it’s weight. When aluminum lifts are easy to come by in Canada .I’ll be getting one!

Thanks to all that replied ; several great points made. I ended up getting " Kurt" ( the guy who makes them),to send me a Lift-a-Sled as I had no luck at all getting through to Whiplash Powersports. Kurt was great to deal with btw.I am concerned about Wingwongs tariff/customs fee point. 120$ US to ship to my door,( 1 hour NE of toronto). Not sure what the customs fee will be, the process and fees seem to be different every time I order something from the US. Somehow, another expensive Sidewinder cost has been approved by the committee yet again.
