I talked with Chris I believe his name was for a bit the other day and he seemed very helpful.

Just thought that i would give a quick update on how my block off plate is working. Took it for the first ride and it seems to be working perfect, no snow on the top of the plate and very little build up on the bottom. I will get some pictures to show how it looks.

Is it really worth it?
I'm watching other sleds and I feel like they are building up more ice in thier tunnles than the XTX is. They all had more ice chunks under thier tunnels than I did. Were in moderate snow conditions but I feel like the XTX is not that bad most times. I had a lot of wet slush get up there one day in deep poeder but under normal circumstances it's not as bad as you might think. I noticed the other sleds with rads under the tunnel were building up more than mine. I wouldn't have noticed if they didn't start complaining about it.

Here are a couple pictures of the bottom of my tunnel with the plate in that I made. It has made a awesome improvement and tonight when I pulled in to my shop the backend actually wasn't sagging. I am totally happy with the plate that I made. And not a flake of snow on the top side of the plate.

It certinally seems to work. In my photo from yesterday's run up around my exhaust is where most of the accumulations is. On the other sleds I was with the ones with heat exchangers under the tunnel were the sleds with more buildup than I. It just turns to ice after melting. Notice where my muffler is the ice buildup. Its not too bad but in deep powder it can get pretty heavy. On groomed trails maybe not so bad. I'd never take out any strengthing supports without replacing them. The job Snoxracer242 did looks good.

Thanks!
Here is a picture from todays riding, again hardly any build up, some towards the front but nothing like before.
