I just got a 2016 Apex LE and need to change carbides on the tuner skis. Just wondering if the ST's are being put on these skis and, if they are, are they used on the inside or outside or both? Still need a carbide on side that doesn't have it? Or do I need to get a pair of single keel skis?

I have the 16 Apex le xtx, the sled had ST's on the stock tuners but still pushed in the corners but some more suspension tuning may have fixed that, and also I found the 5" tuners had no floatation at all for the heavy front end of the Apex, so I moved to the 7" VK pro skis with the single deep keel and put ST's on them, these skis have a higher bend at the back of the ski which I find better when backing, I am very happy with this ski combo set up works very well in all conditions on the trail or off trail, I believe the tuners with ST's had a blade on each keel on the ski and I found mud or rocks or even chunks of ice would jam between the keels some times especially later in the season when conditions were softening up abit. hope this helps.

get ride of tuners you will spend way more money than you need to on them and they still wont be any good ,i bought new skis from Barn Of Parts for 2005 or 2006 warrior i believe and installed snotrackers on them and they work super

Snowtrackers totally transform the handling of the tuner skis. I used to push other skis but after testing trackers on the tuner ski last season I now suggest just putting snowtrackers on tuner skis for groomed trail riding. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Been selling trackers for several years now and they are on all my personal sleds.
