Well guys, its the end of the road for me with Yamaha. It was a hard sell even though it was in excellent condition with many upgrades. So many people around here are weary of them and are aware of the inherent quirkiness of owning one. They are just ill suited to our terrain: too much snow, too many hills, too much off-trail use. I really hope Yamaha revamps their lineup with some lighter, more agile machines for the younger folk who like to ride "out there" more so than down a "corduroy road". I have some accessories for sale in the classifieds section as well so please check it out. Thanks to Totally Yamaha and its members. The info and ideas found in here helped me transform my sled from a sumo wrestler to a slightly overweight ninja.
:rocks:

best of luck to ya, but the main reason I bought my Phazer is that is works great off trail for me, easiest sled I've ever rode off-trail. Granted it lacks power for big hills but it tackles everything in my area with ease. If the Phazer was never around I'd probibly be on a 11' 600 IQ shift 136 like my buddy has.

"Younger folk"??
Guess 42 is like a dinosaur now & going off trail isn't supposed to be done by us? :tg:

Same as BIR, It suits me fine for the trails or whatever deep stuff I can get into (when we have it). Fun @ 55-70 mph is fine with my "old bones".

Enjoy your new ride Ruckus, don't be a stranger! ;)!

I'm 40. I don't consider old as an age, I know guys in their late 50's that are jumping 30 footers.
