Spark plugs?

At higher boost levels (17+) there is allot more cylinder pressure than stock. That higher cylinder pressure actually tends to suppress the spark. So, to make sure the fire gets lit and ignition is consistent, a smaller gap makes it easier for spark to jump the gap.

Sparks plugs are without a doubt a 15min job. Coils pop off with simple leverage, 3" extension on the back two plugs, a swivel with 6" extension on the closes plug.
Unless of course your 5/8 plug socket doesn't fit on plug snug enough (add electrical tape) and the plug drops into the abyss, between the tank & aluminum shroud. Better add an extra 15mins. Ugh....

Bob, the two closest plugs came without incident. As soon as I got to the plug furthest away and heard that noise that sounded like a pinball machine....I knew I'd be in for a ride...lol

Use a piece of double braided 3/8 fuel line hose about five inches long.
Works great.
As soon as I have the plugs loose, I take the socket off and put the hose on to spin out and lift out.
I install with the hose also.

This. Always use a magnetic plug socket.

If the rubber is wore out inside your plug socket a little plumbers putty works well to keep the plug in.
