SR Viper Pushing Problems

Here in Quebec, for my riding style and with the snow conditions, I think the XTX is more a 50/50 sled and the LTX a 90/10 sled.

So here what I found:
The front float at 65psi
Limiters at middle
Center shock showing 15 threads on bottom
Rear float at 125psi

The floats are just good as they are
If tightening the limiters more = more skis pressure
If loosening the limiters more = more inside skis lift in corners
If tightening the center shock more = too stiff
If loosening the center shock more = more comfortable but too much ski pressure

For now it is the best set-up I found for both stock skis and C&A XTX.
With the stock skis it is darting too much.
With the C&A there is more steering effort but handling is like on rails with no darting.

Top speed on hard packed trail is 157 km/h.

Pretty happy with my trail sled ;)

Right on..

There is always a trade off. I have the LTX SE with the 1.6 track so I can trail ride and off trail. No worries with either. Mine is set up like I like it. Maybe a little on the stiff side, but it's getting better. I'm just saying we can't have it all. We have to sacrifice something! Every sled out there has to. None of them do it all!!

I had an XTX, put aggressive SnowTrackers on it and it turned on a dime, completely eliminated darting as well.

Had?

Gonna try the Tuner Skis this weekend with 6'' carbides all around, if that doesn't do it I'm going to put the stock skis back on the try some Snow Trackers with 7.5'' aggressive carbides. Going to keep my suspension set up stiff for my weight 270# and just go with more carbide to turn better.

Any ideas what I should have the middle shock set at for 270#?? Right now its showing 11 threads and I have the rear shock set at 135 psi.

Yep my tibia at ankle has a displaced fracture n sled stickers are scraped. Haha not bad for getting put on its side n sled on it

I tried that and trails around home were even a work out unless I was on dirt rd. I kept adjusting it and that's when I found having 2-3 threads showing on top and 55-60 in front. Back shock I didn't notice a difference from 110-140 other than see where it is most comfortable for your riding style. Moguls it does good at 120-125. Limiter straps I had to keep loose or you had a work out

No good! I'm 250 dressed and I almost have my center shock to the top.

Yes had. Sold the sled last week YamahaTim, just not enough ponies. Hoping they put a turbo on a non mountain sled from factory, if its a $2000 option I might just buy a new one! ARE YOU LISTENING YAMAHA! Still have the SnowTrackers though . . . . . .and a medium windshield.

For your information jpetersen1, I am 150lbs and for me 15 threads showing. I think for 270lbs your should show more than That.

Can someone tell me how to figure out where to drill the hole on my snowtrackers? I went to put them on today and there weren't any install instructions.

Thanks
