Ok I have had lots of back and forth with Dale, and I just ordered a helix and spring. He does not feel the lower RED will work at all for bottom end. But I do think your testing it is smart to rule it out, but may be too lazy down low.

Ordered:
-black/green 57/129kg
-37/33 Helix

Also, after some back and forth, I was begging for a higher SIDE force torsional, and he is ahead of me, and has one in the works! It got abit delayed though so not ready yet, but I think the higher side force will wake up the bottom end bigtime for stockers and tuned SW.

Remember this new roller secondary is new for Yam and there are very few torsional roller sleds, all others use compression(except stock 1200 like mine) and my 1200 was lazy too, likely using the torque more on trail and better MPG for trails, but I clutched my 1200 with compression spring and now it is an animal down low, much more 2 stroke like....So I believe a higher side forced torsion will really help the SW at initial hard hit.

Not sure if the new roller secondary uses same diameter secondary springs as prior generation button secondary clutches. If so you may want to look at cat snow pro green torsion spring. They offer more side force then Dalton red and work very well for high boost nytro and apex.

so any news
about that black and green spring?

Did that testing quite awhile back. The engagement was much too high for my liking, and it DID NOT help at all with the delay down low, that was when I swapped over to the thunder kit....and realized the delay is less about clutching and more about spool time.

I may have found it,on babbitts,it is from 1999 sno pro 600 price $21.24 green secondary torsion spring p/n 0748-018 I may get it,and do some testing next winter. It was harder to find, they used red/white a lot and yellow, but I did finally get it,if this is the spring you had in mind?

Not sure that's it. Its a very common spring, probably the most sold cat torsional spring now. All cat dealers probably have them in stock. Most all the newer aftermarket secondary torsional kits use the green sno pro cat spring in them. D&D has them on there site. There are 2 cat green torsional springs. One is specifically labeled sno pro.

exactly...green sno pro...or for even more snot...orange sno pro
