14.5mm rollers to lower engagement better bite. 47 helix does this help with top end and backshift? don't know much about clutching so i'm looking to use stock parts to increase performance. so a set it and forget is what i'm trying to do. i ride in upper and lower MI on and off trail with some drag racing. wanting to keep up with my buddies F7. also all these parts can be purchased at a yamaha dealer or is there a cheaper and better dealer to get these items. Any advice is greatly appreciated. THANKS

better buy a kit from ulmer racing and fly past that cat

You should be able to find em used for well under $100 on here.
The 47 helps with upshift & acceleration.
If you want backshift your gonna have slower acceleration. If you want better acceleration you gotta give up some backshift.
Pick one...can,t have both.
I do have a lot more aggressive set up then backshift is totally gone.
The set up i gave you is a decent compromise.

is there much tuning after this set up or is it set it and forget it. i know if i want to tune it more i have to get a clutch kit like ulmer's. also what hole do you put the secondary spring in on the helix, same as it was. just trying to get an edge without spending much money, i've spent alot this year and no snow yet. Thanks

Your probably better of to buy a clutch kit.
Get ulmers cus he can help you dial it in if you have problems or issues.

if i did ulmer's xtx clutch kit would that do everything you were doing with the rollers and the striaght helix. or could i combine them and make a super kit?

Just tell Ulmer you want to run the rollers and he can set it up from there... You might need a higher engagement spring to help bring back the low engagement.

Will Ulmers stage 1 clutch kit get me close to the 2010 F8? How does the Nytro 121" do against the F8 stock to stock?

You will lose....

Honestly the nytro has the power of a strong 600 or run of the mill 700 2 stroke. It also weighs in more, but it has much more tq. Given a good hole shot the nytro will play with a 800 outa the hole, but it soon dies off. If you want to reliably beat a recent 800 (160+hp) outa the hole and on the top end you need to re-gear, and go turbo/sc.
