114? Did you mean 144? 144 worked out good for me in a V pattern in the center and in every other row on the outsides.

Just FYI, on the Dennis Kirk website it says that nuts are not included with the 144 bulk studs but they actually are included. I just did a buddies sled just like mine.

Nope 114 on the Nytro XTX with a 144" track (like having 96 studs on a 121")

Guys, I am going to be studding up my two Apex's in the next couple weeks. I ran 144 v pattern with every other in the outside belts on my 2006's with out an issue. I continue to hear guys putting 144 up the middle. I have all single studs no doubles.

What is the benefit of running up the middle as opposed to the middle and outer belts. I never had a rip out. I ride mostly groomed hard pack trails and like the bite with the v and outer belt pattern.

If I go 144 up the middle what will I gain or loose?

If doing 120 up the middle what is the count per track segment?

The outer ones penetrate better because they are closer to the rails. I also think that outer studs come more into play when cornering.

I have always run both inner and outer on all of my sleds and the outer ones will pull out easier for the above reasons if you are not careful
