talk me out of buying a skidoo over a Ntyro

The Xp works good enough for me to give up on the extra power and reliability of the sc nytro to have a sled that is 10X more fun IMO to ride.
This is why I made the switch!

Very well said!!! I had the a 08 600 sdi XP and my 08 Apex LTX GT at the same time, well lets just say I would rather ride the XP,alot more fun imo aswell!

I think you posers made a wrong input into your browser...think you want the doo forum...

seriously...here's my take..Ive ridden the doo and personally find it boring compared to my attak...but that said..I didnt care for the attak in it's stock form...it needed adjustments and tweaking...skis' were huge...after the tweaking it was like a different machine....stock to stock Id agree with the doo...but after the tweaking..not even close for me...only time Id say otherwise is when it was totally twisty with big bumps...

I guess riverrat has all the info he needs to make a weighted decision. Wether he has been talked into or out of buying a Doo, I really don't care. There have been a lot of good info posted in this thread, which brings value to the site.....that I do care a lot about, thanks :)

Best of luck in whatever you choose - riverrat - and think snow, days are getting shorter

you know...one thing that comes to mind..you mention you love the apex's engine/pull....it would take the 800r or 1200 4stroke to have that kind of pulll...and only the 1200 seems like it will be longterm dependable / caparable to the apex....if you can get a 1200 for a good price Id consider it a vianle option...but now your back to the weight thing...
the only other choice is the 600 sdi....a nice machine and proven but not an apex on long straightaways...to me it comes down to an apex...a nytro with some mods or the 1200 doo...and which one you get the best deal on and feel most comfortable for your type of riding and how well it fits you..
