TD/GAP Big Turbo first impressions

For the life of me i can NOT get my gap flasher to connect to 2 different android phones. Tried every reset i could. Uninstalled app and installed, all permissions turned on, location on. wifi on and off. It only only saw the device 1 time but never would connect. Dave is telling me the apple phones work much better for this??
I have TD flasher (assuming the same) no problems with android.

the blue light is flashing on device, my girlfriend has apple phone i will try tonight but i am pretty sure the flasher has a issue. Just my luck. Had a ride and trip planned next week.

Assuming you downloaded the Gapp app, and transfered the files from your PC to your phone. connects just like anything else.
Never knew apple phone to be better?!?! Don't cancel, you'll make it!!

Dave at hurricane told me has had many customers with issues connecting with androids. 2 phones do not even see or discover the device. even just a bluetooth scan it is not showing up

I have never had a problem with Android. Be sure you installed correct firmware on your flasher for your tunes/aplication.

Thank you sir, you saved the day. I did update firmware but did not update the newest
Connected right away!! Got the file sent off and now just waiting for the tune file returned. I hope it makes a large difference!!

270hp tune runs good, I am still running the stock air intake and to be honest the factory system looks pretty good. The only opting is cut hood and run cai. The under hood idea is not a good one. I want to play around with helix, back when i ran a 325hp turbp m1000 cat i had good luck with a straight 40 or 42 degree helix. stock in this winder is 39 35 ir 35 39 cant remember.

The GAP underhood cold air delivers all outside air.

Would that get clogged with snow? This is a mtx so sometimes I have snow coming over hood

I have had the Gap Cold air since they were first released and I have had zero issues.

But...this was posted by another member in a previous thread on the Gap cold air kit, so I guess it depends on the conditions you operate the sled in.

Wow!!
I have went down the rabbit hole, i just ordered the header and 300hp tune from Dave. I will run the 270 90% of the time but for those times you want more i will have the option.

That screen is fine, you'd have to wonder how that snow gets in there unless the screen is broken.
