Here my trail Cat but with a speed track on it.
Nbssr spec 2 class.. Mike our shop man has the record now 147.8 1320 full weight trail sled but with speed track .
Mine so far looks pretty similar in speed.
Fee things to tweak left.
That's my number in 1000 feet on first outing.

I'm sorry but it doesn't mean you didn't do it that he couldn't..
Different setups.
You guys know the numbers I post here during my own testing and they are real.i back them up at the Nbssr races as well.
Typically a good working max 17 will run 128 to 130 in 1320 feet . Max 20 130 to 132. Race map 133 to 140...huge variations due to traction and conditions.
Max 17 very well setup can reach very good speed. 133 is not impossible but sled has to be on point and conditions perfect... As well as a tail wind.
Race map is especially hard to hook up on trail studs.
They need to be sharpened. Or you will never hook up.
DMC..
If you can't keep sled straight your studs aren't working right. On ice you want 2 stud per row 3 max... And sharp... Triggers or hornets. The rest is garbage.
I'm giving you guys good tips here hope you guys like them.
Ben,
Nowhere in my post did I say he couldn't do those speeds. I just said that I can't do those speeds lol.
This thread isn't questioning the power of your tunes but it is questioning a pump gas tune with 22/41 gears running 134 in 1320. Apparently no one showed up to back it up.

It is hard to believe I agree... But it's not impossible that's all I wanted to say.Ben,

I agree though, Normally for higher speed more gear is needed to stay in efficient Zone and not too deep in overdrive.
As for the OP there is an unhealthy amount of pressure being put on him.
Pressure created by his own doing no offence it wouldn’t matter who’s tune not happening with 22/41 years and basically stock clutching on a warm day. Everyone likes to embellish their numbers a little bit but that’s going overboard I’ve personally seen a 17 Max tune with a straight pipe run 128 on your GPS geared much taller and set up much better Jeff from Sudbury. It is hard to believe I agree... But it's not impossible that's all I wanted to say.

No doubt but that’s the results of coming on an open forum and throwing numbers out we haven’t seen in that distance with those gears on pump gas.
I can’t compete with any of these guys but I consider myself the average guy just trying to make my sled faster. Feel free to PM me all your secrets.

Funny how no one showed up to put the numbers down on Ernies TD GPS. Anyone can take a picture of a radar gun and say it was 1320’. Anyways I’m done...

Well I call BS on joshes sled if it makes you feel better I went out of my way to let you guys make a liar out of me but not one of you showed up to take me up on my offer so I guess we are going to have to take your word for it. NBSSR in NorthBay in 3 weeks always great ice and fast conditions should have no problem putting the numbers up there.Josh I find it Fascinating no one questioned your 129 with STOCK gearing in 1320 LOL Also how many of these guys have an SRX that are trying to compare results from a 17-18 winder to a SRX Different Animal!!!!!

I'll set up a sled a trail sled full weight and our max spool 17...on 91 octane. And do a pull with my TD GPS... Curious to see what it will run.
Add tailwind if we are lucky and watch out lol

the point is a few guys here are claiming it's impossible.Again not the point of the thread but have at it I’m done
I think it's VERY very difficult to do. But I believe 133mph in 1320 is possible given perfect conditions and perfectly set up sled. The gearing 22 41 will make it especially hard to do.
I'm not saying Josh sled did run that. I wasn't there, I can't comment. All I can say is Tom was there and vouches for his results and Tom tells it how it is.
He himself has a very fast sled that won many NBSSR class 1 events.
