Re: turbo
The turbo I am using is the GT2560R or the or nickname GT28R
part number 446541-1
I would go with this one as I am confident it will support 300 hp all day long and give you the response your looking for.
You will have to run it at 17 psi to make 300 hp with VP Street blaze 109.
This turbo is standard in the Northeast Turbo kit.

What kind of octain is required of a 10 to 1 motor running about 22 pounds of boost? I see you recommended Street Blaze 109 for 17 pounds.

At sea level, 10:1 pistons, 17-19 psi Sunoco GT100 will work very well.
Buy it in 5 gal sealed containers and keep it cold and dark.
This goes for all race fuels.

Re: turbo
Ted I looked on Garrett web page and the only part # I saw close was 466541-1 is this the correct turbo? There web page rates the horsepower at 200 to 280.Ted Jannetty said:tcsrx said:Ted im looking to get into 300 hp range. tcsrx , even the 28RS is only rated at 320hp and many people out there are making nearly 400hp with it. If you are looking for 300hp go with the 28R , it will spool faster no doubt.
