1crazysledder, I'll try to get a picture of the blue backlighting in the dark. The gauge is very readable as you're riding and doesn't move alot if you're in the same snow conditions all the time. The pod that BPE made for the RX-1 will be available for the Apex in a couple of weeks. They are just getting started on the prototype and will have to make a mold and should have a finished product available in roughly a month.

With the new radiator I doubt you would need it to monitor overheating, but guys may want to use them for warm-up to know when to go full throttle. IMHO you dont have to have this but if is a cool accessory.

Purely added safety. I like to be able to look at a guage and know exactly what temp the coolant is and not have to worry if the overheat light or radiator fan may have malfunctioned.

I had one on my sled, and saw when trhe temp was going up on trails where the snow is like small pellets. The temp rose up to 200°
I could drag my feet and cool it down right away.

Kool. I'll check back in about month with you. I'm really not to crazy about digital guages, but I may get one for my sled. It seems to be small enough. Not to bad priced either.

You shouldn't need a rear heat exchanger... The radator took care of these problems...

Sodes, that guage is going to be tough to mount in an Apex dash.
Everyone else I have pictures of the guage installed in an Apex, I will post them later tonight!
