What blew my mind is how hot the chain case gets tho.
I use the same synthetic engine oil in the chain case as I use in the engine, it is much thinner than the recommended gear oil. I use a 100 cc more than recommended because of the thin density of engine oil. I haven't had any issues running it like this on my turbo sled. BTW engine oil will take the heat much better than gear oil if you get any heat build up.
Is this heat issue only related to the models having magnesium chain cases? 2006 model year sleds?
