Im a doo rider converted last year.
I had a 96 Mach Z 780 x3 , pretty fast but rough as hell to ride.
Then went to a 03 Rev 800 X, like some things about it, but couldnt stabd up on it.
Then they brought oput the 04 with bar risers and other goodies.
I bought a 800 HO XPS, what a POS.
Dumped it and bought the RTX and havent looked back.
I still go on Dootalk as g/f sitll has her 03 rev 600 ho , Im workin on it .
She rode my RTX once last year, she didnt like it, but im sure if she spent some time on it she would.

Now Im waiting to see what 08 is bringing.

new to yamaha but have always been riding cats. just picked up an 05 rx1 with a 136 ext. i bought this for a nice trail riding sled becaus i also currently own an 04 AC sno pro that is absolutely worthless on the trails. now i figure i have the best of both worlds.

I was brought up on a '80 300 Enticer. The first machine I bought was a '80 440SRX, what a rocket, wish I still had it. The first brand new sled was a '97 SX700. Then came a '98 500XTC for my wife, we still have this. In Jan. of '04 picked up a new leftover '02 SRX700, another rocket I wish I still owned. I traded the SRX in on a Apex ER last Feb. I wonder when they are going to build me another SRX??!!
