Make sure you use the blue coolant made for aluminum radiators. Yamalubes or BMW or Mercedes coolants all prevent damaging the inside of the radiators. I have heard of clogging them up using regular parts store type coolant. No overheating light on mine ever, I do have scratchers.

Update... Last ride on Tuesday my yellow temp light came on in groomed night before frozen solid very little flying snow conditions. With scratchers down improved things and a quick dodge just off the groomed trail into the powder and a blip of the throttle yellow light went off. Will drain coolant and check for crystals this summer.
