Here's another pic of bolt. Yes you have to remove sleeve to use puller.
Torque clutch at 88 lbs then remove bolt install sleeve and bolt and torque to 45 lbs. It does take a thin wall socket to fit. I have both snap-on and craftsman and the both fit.

I wonder if the older covers are slightly different. I only have about 1 turn of adjustability before it bottoms out.

Can you take a pic?
I mentioned this to Lonn and he said the old covers can be updated.

I think I will call him. I already pressed the updated bushing back out of my older cover. Maybe I will just get the new cover and sell my older one.

Yeah, hard to say what is going on there.
Like many people are saying, the new 911 cover works awesome

Yep, he called me yesterday making sure I was all set with my kit. I originally called him inquiring and was ready to pull the trigger. That forced me to decide turbo or no turbo. I told my dealer who was using another kit about the big venom kit and they were immediately interested. My dealer is now giving a clutch kit choice when doing turbos and they will be testing them on their machines this winter. Lonn knew this whole transaction and felt it was important to check in with me to make sure everything went smoothly. Very impressed!Lonn at Thunder Products really sells a nice kit.... Just installed the BOP soft start spring with the big venom kit.
I now have buttery smooth engagement at 2700-2750. With the stock spring it was around 300-3100 and a little more jerky.
we need snow now for further testing on pull!!!!!!!!

I have BOP on both my turbos. As far as I can tell same results as GWG

One thing I've learned over the last couple years between my viper and a buddies 7000 is that engagement rpm doesn't always determine a difference between smooth and not smooth engagement. My turbo viper engages at 2800 and is very smooth, I can creep on a concrete garage floor at 1 mph and not spin the track that has a bunch of studs, my buddies 7000 engages at 3700 and is as smooth or smoother than my viper at 2800. It also has a bunch of studs and I can start and stop in forward and reverse and creep at 1 mph on my concrete garage floor and never feel like it's gonna spin the track. The higher engagement does affect it a bit more in loose snow on a hard launch, but as far as initial engagement and being smooth I think a good clutch/belt combo is the key more so than actual engagement rpm.
So now ur saying u need the BOP soft spring with the Big Venom kit to get low engagement ?? I thought with just the venom kit it engages at 27-28 , the more u read on here the more confusing it is lol
