Should I then remove some weight from the Tip if I add the Middle with 3/8" Steel with Thin Washer or just leave it alone? That's a 1.2 gram difference between the 3/8" Steel w/thin washer vs. 3/8" Aluminum w/thin washer.
Just add for now. Hoping to remove some from tip if we can. Later. Are you getting a lot of track spin and hitting limiter just after launch?

Ok, will give that a try and see how that works. I don't seem to be hitting the limiter just after launch nor getting much track spin....some, but not too bad. Your welcome. You must be building good power as your pulling a lot of weight.

I must be building some good power!!!! I couldn't believe how much weight I had to keep on adding in the Tip to finally keep it off the Rev Limiter. I had 7 Grams in the Tip yesterday, but that was bringing my RPMs down to 8,600 - 8,750. That was a bit too much. Today I brought the Tip down to 6.4 grams, but was still on the Rev Limiter. Adding some Mid weight should really make it pull, huh! First time today I was right there with my buddy 800 etec at 90 and he finally let off the gas.

It will pull harder yet with more mid weight.

Sweet! My bro just got a 800 Polaris Assault 144 so I need to be able to keep up with him too! ;-)

Installed kit, hitting about 9000rpm consistently and 9200 once on recall. Problem is I can't break low 80-82 mph. Granted conditions were not great with loose snow on ice base.
I have air box mod and ulmer can so I should be making HP. I will check belt settings to see if my deflection is maximized.
In addition, I'm 280lbs too. Lot to haul...lol

Add some weight to the tip. You might be slipping a bit on top end due to your 280#'s. Are your clutches hot?

Yes, my clutches did seem a bit hot to me when I was making some adjustments to deflection. How much should I add to tip?
Also will adding weight to tip pull down overall RPM?

Yes it will pull rpm down some. What is in your tip now. To many setups cant remember them all. Lol

Here is my present setup....
48.2 Heavy Hitters base – ¾ Allen in heel, 3/8 aluminum in center with 3/8 steel and a thin washer in the tip. Stock primary spring (Blue Silver Blue) with a glide washer on each end of the primary spring.

Ok replace the thin washer in the tip with a thick one. Then put the thin one in the mid. Need to load the motor a little more for your weight. It will pull your rpms down but will work better for you. Should drop you to around 8800. Let me know how it works.

Will do, this should provide me with more MPH then right? No more slipping hopefully.

Yep. Sometimes less is more. That's the plan anyway. Lol. Torque does the work. We need to use all of it.
