Take the 3/8 aluminum out of the middle and replace with 3/8 steel in the middle. That will make it pull even harder down low to mid and reduce final rpm a little. Report back.

changed to Steel 3/8 in the middle
Snow conditions changed a little when we got +4 celsius but im still hitting the limiter.
So setup now is
Hole 1: 3,3G hole 2: 3/8 steel 2.6g and hole 3: 3/8 steel and thick washer so 2,6+1,4=4g
Totaling 58.1g
2015 viper mtx 162" with stingray air Box mod, just to recap
Guessing its time to add on top?

Hole 3, take everything out and replace with 7/16 steel.
Hole 2, add thick washer to 3/8 steel bolt.

Changed as above and tried it just a while, Will try more tomorrow but now it pulls like a freight train! But im still hitting the limiter when pinning it, thou it feels like i cant add more in the middle since if i slowly pull over a lake it ends up at 9050 rpm. Now its only when going out in the powder it hits the limiter.
Add a Thin shim at top hole? Shouldnt that bring down the top rpm if ive understod everything right?
I really appreiciate all the help you guys are offering Shagman and Nos-PRO! This is super interesting for me since im learning things like crazy
Happy new year!

I know your all following with suspense, okey maybe not but heres an update anyhow.
Added 0,4+0,4g to top. And to be honest I dont know if it was a step in the right direction or not. It feels more sluggish in the middle BUT on long runs over a lake im not reaching the limiter
It goes up to 9100 rpm and then goes down to 8800rpm and holds steady there.
But im still hitting the limiter when gunning it in powder. So it feels like i might have added to Much to the top and should have added to middle instead?
Starting to feel hopelessness creeping up on me . Can it be that My belt is to worn? Dont see any signs of the belt slipping thou

Pull 0.4 from tip. Then remove 3/4 set screw from heel. Then insert 1/4 set screw all the way to the bottom then put 3/4 back in on top of 1/4. When you put weights back in check to make sure they will swing all the way out the end of the set screw will be close to the outer edge of clutch. That will help down low.

I have a big venom kit for my viper but will be adding the mpi turbo over the next 2 weeks. I'm assuming that I need to get their turbo clutch kit? Anyone here using that?

I need to get a clutch kit big venom 58 kit work good? I'm running 6lbs of boost and need to get the heck off the rev limiter on the top end. I can't hold the throttle wide open.

Yes, with the added power, you will need a heavier base weight and the 58 gram base weights work very well with 6psi boost.

Has anyone else had a higher engagement speed after installing the Big Venom kit? Stock it was about 3800 rpm and after installing the kit its up to about 4200 which is not really what I was after. The sled is a bone stock 2016 Viper LTX-LE.

Is your primary to belt clearance set properly. Also new or used belt? If the gap on the primary vs. belt has too much play it will require more RPM to engage since the sheaves are further apart. I have the billet 911 cover which has a quick adjuster for this. My engagement was smoother and lower than stock.

The sled only has 800 kms on it but I tried the original belt as well as a new spare and they both are the same. Maybe it was set wrong at the factory because the belt does appear the be sitting low in the secondary. The top of the belt is flush with the edge of the sheaves with either belt.

Do you have belt dust. Do you have a glide washer on each side of primary spring. Is your primary sticky. Are you using stock primary spring.

Deflection sounds ok.
