Thunder Products (Big Venom Viper kit) with Heavy Hitters

What’s all done to yours . On mine I have spi header and sandale muffler with free airbox mod . You have exhaust mods on yours . Thanks

This year I am running SPI header, EVO can, Ulmer Airbox mod.

What is the rate of the OYO?

Definitely feel it in the mid range. Top end, don't think it really did much.
Have you tried clutching after header install? If it will pull it more wieght means more mph in same distance. Previous Evo header worked best just right before stock rev limit. Straightline 9055 for me.

Yes, last weekend I had to make some adjustments to my clutching after I put the TP Orange Secondary spring in. I have it right 9050 RPMs. I haven't had a chance to really open it up too long on the lake yet. Prior to the secondary spring change, I was running 9040 RPM with the Straightline header. I really like the mid range torque a lot! I'm definitely making some good power with all the weight I've had to add to the TP Heavy Hitters.

Well , I cleaned up all the casting in secondary and got 98 out of it yesterday, last year I never seen much over 75-78 mph!

Peak rpm was 8500-8650 so making adjustments and I think I’ll finally see over 100!!

Just couldn’t figure out what was going on last year and nos-pro posting about the secondary issues and watching his videos got her figured out !

Thanks nos-pro !!!

You are very welcome man!!! ;)!

Does anybody have a picture of this casting to clean up? I guess I just don't understand what the goal is.

The problem is that there is flash from when the sheaves were casted, causing problems when the secondary is trying to shift out. Not only does it hold you back from top speed, but your belt gets ruined from heat and damage from the secondary clutch not being able to shift. The clutches need to work and move freely without binding and other restrictions.
Example would be the added stress to a lightweight dog leash when your 100 lbs. dog sees another dog and tries running after it while you are trying to hold him back. Belts can only take so much.

I kno conditions vary as well as set ups and rider preference but wondering what ppl are using helix wise?

NA vipers a lot are using the 46/40 with most clutching setups.

If you are turbo viper, a reverse angle 40/46 works awesome....but as mentioned, depends on the clutching.

Happen to have one to try this yr. just need to get through this rain in Ontario and get the snow back

NOS-PRO, cleaned up the flashing, did not test it out, but I can say. If you run the secondary through the range of proper motion, the helix bottoms out before the arms even get close to the ends of where the flashing are is, now where the arms glide around yes I can agree that would cause some issues, but I seen no marks of scuffing or contact on my flashing. Again I didn't try it yet, but the theory behind it doesn't yet make sense in my head.
