With the huge amount of clutch kit sales, Lonn called me this morning to let anyone out there know if they want a clutch kit....to call Lonn and order one. He is ordering more weights to be machined so he can keep kits coming your way. Lonn has a reserve amount left, but is ordering again this week and would like to know if he has to double his order.

Lonn thanks everyone who has purchased a clutch kit and thanks all who have responded with great feedback!

I have run Thunder Pruducts in my Nytro for years,up in the mountains and in my Nytro drag-monster,
all i can say that his products work suuper nice for the hills and dragracing :)
And i am now using it in my Sidewinder Btx with his aweysome 911 clutch cover :)

Here are some pics and a video of how they work

Has there been any spring changes in the primary or secondary since testing this fall? Just curious

My order must've been the proverbial straw. Lol. Talked to him this morning. Seems like a great guy. He thinks a lot of NOS-PRO and respects his testing. I totally agree. If each of them says one or another is good, it's a safe bet!
Can't wait to get the kit on and try this coming weekend.

Should be all the same....just the color of the primary spring changed as Lonn had to order a new batch

LOL :)

It was a combination of a lot of people ordering.... A HUGE amount of kits are going overseas, along with the ones ordered in Canada and US.

Lonn is a great guy

Picked up mine today let's hope it gets rid of that hesitation once hammering the throttle from a dead stop. Will post results

Any code errors? Believe 1236 is that tiny little hose on the waste gate of the turbo. Check that as you shouldn't have a bog

T0ms kit is going in here today, He grabbed it from Orps in newmarket after I had a talk with Jody there, thanks Jody for setting us up! Abit tricky to find the kit in Ontario somewhat local for pickup as we did not want to wait for customs ect. Sure it cost more up here but everything does. Just happy to have the kit here on the table, looked through it closely and its a very thorough kit with complete instructions, and YES the weights are pre-setup with the "tune" bolts/washers ect. Will start there and fine tune it. Install Pics to come.

Thanks to Jody at Orps, Terry B., and of course Lonn.

What does it do compared to stock clutch?

Did they ever find a primary spring for the kit to do away with all the shims? Doesn't seem natural to me to have to add a bunch of shims. Says the guy who has 5 in his COTC setup. ha ha

You don't have to use all those shims. One on the top and bottom of spring are used to keep the spring from binding. The rest are used to fine tune engagement if desired.

Thank you. That is the reason for the "glide washers" and is why Lonn has them in every kit.
