Tipping the sled on it's side?

I know the general recommendation for tipping the sled up is to do it oil tank down. But, can it be done with the left side down? I realize the oil will run from the tank into the motor but if you let it sit for a while after tipping it would everything go back to where it belongs, or will it get in bad places? It seems sometimes it would be easier to do certain things left side down.

My question is what's your reason for tipping it on its side?

The only time I tip mine kinda on its side is to inspect the carbides, and then its not all the way over, maybe at a 45* at the most and only for a few seconds.

No specific reason right now. I find it's easier to get at bogies or the screws for the slides. A friend asked me about tipping his sled, I told him to do it oil tank down. Then I was wondering if it really mattered. Thanks for the replies.
