Question about the power hookup...

I love what I'm looking at, but is there a way to daisy chain straight into the heated shield line and bypass the need for the battery (make it even smaller and lighter)? Just a thought. I've always got that shield line plugged in while riding anyway, so why not put some kind of in line adapter to power the system and do away with the need for the battery pack entirely?

The batteries are built into the Player & Amp.
Think what you are thinking of is the power supply.
The whole unit together is pretty light.
Will never notice it on your helmet. ;)!

Gotcha!

I just glanced quickly over the pictures and was thinking that if you could daisy chain the charger into the shield line you could keep it all charged and not run on the battery power for those really long days when you are out for 12 or more hours on the sled. What do you typically get out of the batteries in the course of a day for the player and the amp? 2-3 hours? 4-6 hours? or better than 6?

Better than 6 hours, usually 8 or more.
However, I run as you suggest and just leave mine connected to my visor.

The unit comes with the WYE cable to run both your TRAIL JAMZ and your visor at the same time.

Cool!

That's exactly what I was getting at, but I did not see anything about that connector on the home page. My B-day is a few weeks away -- I might have to start dropping some subtle hints!! thats for the input. ;)!

Hey Guys!

If you order a full TRAIL JAMZ unit (The regular unit in the listing) between now & the end of the year (This Saturday), I will include the 120v Travel adapter AND the One Connect Cable FREE with your kit!

The Travel adapter is a very small folding 120v wall plug-in that has a USB output for re-charging your TRAIL JAMZ.

The One Connect Cable is way cool!
It allows you to plug into the wall adapter & plug right into the visor cable connection on your TRAIL JAMZ.
This means you do NOT have to remove ANYTHING from your TRAIL JAMZ case to re-charge at night!
Makes it Waaaaay easy to re-charge in your hotel room!
(These aren't even on my site yet...)

The Value of the Wall adapter is $10
The Value of the One Connect Cable is $20
You get a value added deal of $30 for FREE!

You can also add additional speakers, or Amplifier etc, will still get the FREE stuff, as long as your order is based on a full unit.

All orders will ship immediately, depending on stock.
Any possible delay would only be a few days to re-stock.
(Have a lot of parts on the way!)

Just put in the notes that you want the End of Year Deal when you order!

Like the End of Year Deal on the YamaHeaters, this is a TY exclusive.
You have to read this and ask for it, to get the deal!

Can order at www.trailjamz.com

I can say without any thought of egxaggeration, Rock has the best customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. Can't say enough about it. He's there to answer any concerns or questions promptly and happily always.

Rock is the bomb!

I got my Trail Jamz on the Houghton ride and I just love it! You never even know it's connected to your helmet while riding. If anybody is interested in listening to music while riding this is the way to go! You will not be dissapointed in what Rock all has to offer with this set-up. And like everybody keeps saying about customer service is exactly true! Rock will take care of anything and everything.
