I,ll be happy if it is faster than my 05 RX1 after it was rejetted. K@N filters @ clutched by BBY. It ran VERY strong.

Stock for stock, the Apex will out run the RX at every speed. I know, because I was the one on the RX and the Apex rider weighed a bit more than me. And he still had me beat all day long. So to get some better handling, less weight, and a bit more power is something to be happy about. Compared to a Mach Z, eveyone has their own opinion. If I wasn't riding this stuff, I'd be riding the Mach.

I agree ,I got to test for a day last winter and agree. What I meant was that I was more than satisified the performance I had last year and everything else this sled will do better is a bonus for all of us. ;)!

Hey offcr, are you going to some Munising MI rides this season?

Mom and I hope to make some. We ride all winter at different places and states. One of the perks of being retired. ;)!

What's your point?

I sure hope so, because the RX was not much of challenge from 0-100 mph, after that is where the RX shined alot better than my REV. I do believe we have exhausted this topic alot in the spring time.

My point is that it will stomp(your 800) hands down!

I had an ECP kit and HH clutching on my 05 RX1, and stomped 800 Revs all last year, including some 05s. The Apex should be considerably quicker/faster than either of them.

Well, mine was clutched and geared with reed pedals and Boyseen pedals. It was ported and had the head cut, until I blew it up. Then I put it back to stock without the porting and the head work done. Jut clutching, gearing and reeds. But when it ran, it was tough to beat. In my local snow drags, I only lost to one guy that had a Sno-Pro F7, old Vmax 800 and another Standard F7. He ran these sleds two weeks before at RunWay Park in the Pro Stock class at the World Series of Ice Drags. His F7's were pulling about 165hp each and I'm not sure about the VMax 800. He should of not been aloud in Ameteur Snow Drag Events. So, I lost to him and his sleds in the mains in the 800 Tripple Pipe Class. I figured I did alright, so I'm sure your RX would not be to much too worry about.

Quad piped Vmax800 put just over 170 hp ( if those are PSI pipes, it´s more around 172 hp ).

Still, you had a really fast REV. I do hope that Apex can do it for you. It´s going to be a interesting winter, say the least.

Against what, the RX or the Apex? The Apex I should lose from start to finish. The RX, I know I could beat at stock one out of the whole all the way too 100-105 before it passes me and that's all depending if we have enough room or not. The 03 REV's have great weight transfer, better than the 04 and 05's. Traction is everything, but I can say I raced a few RX's and never lost to any of them. Now these races were no longer than 1500-2000 ft, so I doubt we were ever topped out. take it for what it's worth.

None of those sleds poses a threat to the Apex in a straight line race. :4STroke:
