Bought a 2012 Apex er, and I am putting tuner skis on it. Thinking of going 6-4 carbides on each ski. What are you guys using for setup on these skis. Also I ordered the pioneer rear spring, and 13mm sway bars. Do you think I will have to pull down the limiter strap like I did on my 06 to keep ski lift to a minimum?

I know beat to death but never rode new with eps, or new stance only my old 06, GT with a 136" to compare to

On my wifes 13 it dont have the ski lift like the older models, I did take some tension off the front shock springs.

I have 6" and 6" set up on tuner skis that she didn't like, I liked it. if you want to try them let me know.

Hope I didn't make a mistake. On my apex models in the past I used to preach Simmons skis except for real icey conditions. For my nytros nothing but C&A's with 7+" of carbide. Then I read this from a carbide company after I just bought the tuners... Should I switch back to a different ski before I get these put on the sled? Would rather spend $100 more for curves or Simmons and know they are going to work, then waste me dough on a $300 pair that isn't for me.

Don't fall for Bergstrom's analogy of the Tuners...how many miles does has he ridden on the Tuners? He is one man with one opinion. There are many more opinions (of actual riders) on the Tuners here on this website and most of them are quite favourable.

Just get the longest carbides available and put them on all four runners. You can dial out the ski lift by softening the ski springs and reducing weight transfer.

You won't need to shorten the limiters if you have the 13mm swaybar installed.

Congrats on the new sled...you are gonna love it if you are an aggressive trail rider.

If you do any off trail riding, don't go with the tuners. I also did not like them with a 6 and 4 setup on my Attak for the trails. Less steering effort but it did not eliminate the darting. Went back to my SLP's

Why not try studboy shaper 6" bar on middle and leave stock 4" on outside, that works very good on my pilots on my turbo.

I can not quite understand the idea of putting snowtrackers on tuner skis I love my snow trackers in fact my never run anything but ever again. but why spend the money on tuners which are supose to be the answer and the reshape the botom of them with snow trackers? Excuse me if im missing something here but it just dont make sense. put snow trackers on your stock skis and it fixes everything.
