I use a Bosch 30A mini fuel pump relay encased in a waterproof shrink. There is also an inline fuse to the pump from the battery. It may be receiving 13.5v one minute then the next minute barely receiving 12v.

Really doesn't say that in the advertising.
Shows a picture of the pump, regulator and an elbow. If you put a description of what the elbow does and what fuel pressure the regulator is set at might help.
Due to the fact that its not advertised many may purchase elsewhere.

I have to agree, not with the pump in particular, but just a general no description from most of the vendors on most products. It is frustrating, it's like vendors are trying to cull the herd before they can pull out thier credit card.

Nothing against hurricane, I literally just got my order from him, but I find myself shopping at all vendors because of poor descriptions, instead of a one shop stop.

Yea how about some detailed instructions from all vendors on some of this stuff. Not saying anyone in particular but some of these mods and product need way more details.

That's why I just did the return myself and bought a pump. Just trying to see if a fuel regulator is nessasary. I'm running Dave's 240/270/300 pm ss flashes and wanted to make sure I wasn't running out of fuel on the larger tune in cold weather.

If you look at my signature I run Hurricane products on my sidewinder and his products work very well.
I have been running Hurricane tunes since the fall of 2017.
If you saw the add before Dave changed it you would understand why I posted what I did.

90 percent are not genuine. Also there’s two versions of the 255 pump, you want the high pressure version.

Installing a bigger /different fuel pump is pretty straight forward once you open up/remove fuel slipper. One thing Clutchmaster pointed out awhile back and others is the stock wiring and fuel relay/power supply is not up to the task with bigger pumps. Its possible to do this yourself but the link below is a option.. If you read his description of the product it explains what can happen on bigger tunes and stock wiring and small relay. I posted it in a earlier post as DMC is using this harness. I will be also. DIY is probably a lot cheaper.

just installed and chked voltage,,,, is way higher than factory soo should wrk perfect. really nice piece.
