road my sled yesterday and started out running great running around 16 17 lbs of boost and turning around 11,400 rpm but later in the day it would only turn 10 to 12 pounds of boost and only 10,300 rpms, I checked the air filter and it was clean was wondering if any body had any ideas what could be wrong. when I got home I found a small hose that runs off the turbo to a plastic block with wires attached was loose and thought maybe it was that but wasnt shure.

That "plastic block" is the controller that adjusts boost for altitude. If you were riding at high elevations, that could explain the loss in boost. Without the wires connected, it doesn't increase the boost for altitude.

The wires were plugged in on the block it was the hose that runs to the block from the turbo, the clamp was not even tight you could pull the hose off with one finger I tighten the clamp when I got back to the house but havent road the sled yet. I was riding at 2000 to 6000 ft.

Let me know if it was the tube. Clutching- I run some Heavy Hitters, primo setup IMO. I got the 49g base weights loaded a little on the tip

altitude sensor
i was told form a yammy mechanic that the alt. sensor will ice up also and suggested to raise it up higher ,or tilt it more to drain?also the airfilter on mine will ice up which restricts air flow..there is someone that buils a big air kit to prevent this problem works well in deep snow..

You might also want to check for leaks(i.e. loose connection, crack in intercooler) it doesn't take much of a crack to cause the loss. The higher you try to build boost the bigger the opening will get. You will loose RPM when you do not build the boost that you weighted the clutch for.

I figured the loss of rpms was because there was to much weight in the primary for the amount off boost it was putting out at the time. THe header pipe was never wrapped and I think the charge tube got melted but should know tommarrow if this is the case.
