I don't think they even tested hurricanes kit.MPI was the only turbo dealer to get approved by Yamaha FWIW

Yamaha doesn't test, turbo vendor has to apply and go through very rigorous testing and prove the testing to Yamaha then be approved.

Will if that's the way it happens then Yamaha should cover any issues that are caused by this mpi setup.they are the ones that made the decision to run them as a factory/dealer installed option.Yamaha doesn't test, turbo vendor has to apply and go through very rigorous testing and prove the testing to Yamaha then be approved.

I stool can't see why if for the turbo kit the return line from the air/separator works fine going into the stator cover that it should work on a stock sled with the separator at the stock location, at least there would be no oil loss and no oil in the air box.

I agree. When our sleds were NA I was looking for a solution like this but it didn't exist at the time. Then we added the MPI turbos and still had the issue, this was before the rerouting kit was available. Once MPI's rerouting kit was available they sent it no charge I got them installed on both sleds and its been a non issue ever since. Hats off to the MPI guys for fixing something that AC/Yamaha couldn't figure out.
