and i only met 3 other sleds
yes you read it 3

He probbaly needs to turn his oil pump down, they came from the factory at like a 35:1 ratio. My cousin had to turn his pump down 2 full turns just to get it to 45:1.

Is there a 4-stroke smell? My friends claim they got sick last weekend riding behind me (Apex). They said they'd rather smell oil than my 4-stoke. I don't notice anything unusual when they are on my sled.

That sucks for them... They must get sick in the summer driving their cars with the windows down too with all those darned 4 stroke cars out there
Actually I have been behind some four strokes and could smell them. The must have been running rich? I have seen a couple Vipers puff black smoke this year during take off. Is the mapping messed up or something?
We walked into the house yesterday after work and could smell two stroke smoke. I guess that's what happens to your clothes when there are four two stroke sleds in the family. Not a big deal though....just gave me the itch to got out there... haha.

Love it that happens to me too no one is ever uncomfortable ridding my sled but the spare is to hard to ride.

sx's are a very tough sled but you have to be used to riding to be comfortable that low. heck betsy is even lower and I still make people shake their heads as I ride right past them on it.

Some two stroke oils smell OK but the Ski Doo stuff makes me choke.
I still like the smell of bean oil burning from my oval racing days in the 70s...it just smells bad #*$&@ and brings back memories.
I keep a bottle of Maxima 927 around and occasionally add a few ounces to my SRX fuel and even a little bit in my Attaks fuel just to get that exotic race fuel smell.
