Scooter 1s secretary here...

Joel is right. We are like rabbits on viagra...that would be because we are on VACATION! There is a hotel/motel right next to the Comfort Inn. I can't think of the name of it but it is within walking distance. Can anyone remember the name of it? I would bet they have rooms available.
there is a cheap/cheese hotel across the street called the hillcrest hotel and cabins, and google says the paradice inn is nextdoor?

John, let me see what I can find out today.. I may take you up on the offer of the floor if you don't mind. Much appreciated... Joel

Uhhmmm, I think I may give up my bed and stay on the floor in Scooter and the Sexretary's room!!!! Bringing my camcorder ;)!

Another room option is down at Alger Falls. Thats were we used to stay for the TY rides and is just down the road. Dan and Brenda are great hosts and the rooms are very well kept. 877 254-3255

A couple minor corrections john........the Hillcrest is between 1/4 and 1/2 mi. down the hill towards Munising from the Comfort Inn.......and Goggle would be way WRONG....the former Paradice Inn (now known as White Pine Lodge) is next door to the casino in Christmas......at least 8 to 10 mi. away.

;)!

I would second Sno-xr's suggestion of Alger Falls.......they were always really good to the group until we just plain outgrew them......it's the one directly across M-28 from The Hillcrest.

New for the Give Away this year. All VIPs will each get one ticket to be able to pick a door prize or be able to put that ticket into a grand prize drawing. Everyone else will be able to purchase tickets for the drawings as noted on Sat Feb 6th at 6:00. All drawings will get under way by 7pm Sharp. Anyone coming in late will not get a chance at the drawings.

it was the best sled trip I've ever been on. First off, great event in general. The people were fantastic, and i have several sled trailers worth of new friends. The trails were good, but it was all about comraderie. Great event, great people. :)

Each year, i host a Winefest in a different city, so it's somewhat similar... but I have 2 full days of one hour seminars, meals, and a wine competition, and the comraderie is very similar. I had hoped it would be similar, and it was "spot on" as an english friend would say.

Thanks again to all who made it what it was.. Fantastic!!!
