Could someone please post the full address of the official hotel the ride is based out of? Some of us forenigers need to type it into mapquest and try and figure out just how far a haul it is. Since the Minnesota ride is cancelled I'm entertaining the idea of driving up. I've got to get more than 20 miles on the new sled this season or I'll go crazy! Would anyone be able to stick around Saturday and guide a southerner?

Dan-thegrizzly1- and I are looking into making the trek to lac Dubonnet.

We have not decided travel time yet. If we agree to drive all night we could make the Thursday ride- maybe. Would this kill us? How many miles that day?
If we travel Thursday....
Some.?'s to help us plan. Do you have a planned supper spot for Thursday night, what time on trail Thursday and Friday morning? Anyone want to ride Saturday?
I'm looking to add Saturday for riding to get more ride for trip.
I hope to talk to Dan soon so we can get the time frame limits.

I wanted to paste it here in case there are any other "Southerners" thinking of trying to make the MB ride. Right now Yamadoo and I are ironing out details to see if the two of us are able to hook up and rideshare up for this one. Below in red is some input Sasquatch provided on snow passes.

Great, the one weekend that is planned for me in the winter every year is the dates you pick for the ride! (annual ice fishing trip, guys weekend out). But if you take wpgwarrior's suggestion to try buffalo bay area, that is where I will be,lol. Come on by! Maybe next year a week earlier...
