Just installed the primary spring and weights to my 08 GT. Everything is torqued out to specs. Im wondering how important it is to set the secondary to Ulmer's desired specs because i dont know anything about the secondary clutch and how to adjust it.

Very important. Set as specified. If you need help pm me and i can help you on the phone.

In the FAQ I posted a video of how to assemble the secondary. That should help you understand how.

Feel free is ask any questions on here.

Awesome! Thanks alot for the help guys. hopefully this clutch kit will be worth it

What did you need to do to the secondary? I did not have to make any changes with the OEM track. When I upgraded to a 1.5" Freeride Allen suggested moving the secondary to A2.

I have a 128" track with 1.375" lugs so im thinking i should probably adjust the secondary. Does the clutch kit make a big difference

The sled does pull harder. It engages at a little higher RPM than stock but not bad. Top end is the same.

Hands down (besides a better track) clutching is the BEST mod you can do. I have the Ulmer primary kit combined with a YVX secondary off of a 96 Vmax and I assure you the pull this maching generates would amaze you. I never felt the full performance of the Ulmer kit until I had my secondary running properly. Big, Big performance to be had in the secondary.

interesting. i may have to look into doin that. thanks
