This is what my back yard looks like right now, just shy of 2 feet on average. The wind blew it around some and some places have over 35 inches and some have less than 12 but in the average flat spots that are out of the wind, its about 24 inches...

wow thats funny how big of difference there is. Its only a 40 minute drive from my house to cranberry and i have like 2 inches lol glad I have a trailer

I have a couple buddys with yamaha's (09 nytro and 09 Apex RTX) I'll see if they can go

Im READY!!

It'll definately be a good ride. I went for another little ride yesterday around town. trails are starting to shape up, need a little traffic and groomers and we'll be in business...

Hey guy's, I talked to the boss here at Wheel-A-Way Motorsports about this ride you are planning and we are going to talk to our Yamaha Rep about it. Myabe we can get some Yamaha representation for the ride. Sounds like it's going to be a FUN ride!!! Hope the weather pans out but either way you guys go, it should be nice!! I'll see what we can do!!

Sweet! i am pumped...the wife is even ok im going!!! very rare

Rain today packed the snow down pretty good, cold coming tomorrow with snow right behind it so we'll see what the next couple days bring but the weather report looks great right now..

Come on cold weather...

Trouble is, most of the Lake effect snow will be Southeast of the lake in the Syracuse area with a Noethwest wind. :o| :o| :o| I don't really see much snow for my area, the Tug Hill or even the Adirondacks for at least another week. Sometimes when I see a situation like what is developing for the next week I wish I wasn't a Meteorologist. It causes me great pain to know I wouldn't even be able to go to Tug Hill to snowmobile for at least another week. By Dec. 15th, with over half of Dec. to go Syracuse will probably set its all time Dec. snow total.

Ya it looks like most of the lake effect will stay south of us for the next few days, Im no meteorologist but the system looks like its gunna keep the winds out of the north and blow the lake effect to the south rather than the east or even north east.. We have been getting steady snow since yesterday and we still had decent base left after that rain (or at least it looks like we do, I havn't been out on it in a frew days). The snow we had before was nothing but powder, you would ride on the ground and just blow the snow out of your way. Now we only have about 6-8" but its hard packed with about 3-5 inches of fresh stuff on top and its still coming down. We may be able to ride by early next week... Im off Tuesday and Wednesday next week so I hope by then I can go for a little ride. Also.. the cold (4 degrees F outside now) will harden the lake back up after the rain.. It might work out ok for us, we'll see...
